I’m Baz, the artist behind BazwoldArtist. I'm a freelance artist based in Nottingham in the UK. I specialise in traditional portraits and use a wide range of mediums. My goal is to create more than just a replica of an image, I want to deliver a permanent keepsake that resonates with the viewer.

Album Artwork & Musical Icons

I have always had a huge interest in heavy metal and this has given me the opportunity to collaborate with bands. Creating album covers that capture the sound and vision of the artist. I utilise everything from pastel and charcoal pencils to acrylic paint to capturethe grit and spirit of each artist I draw for.

Wildlife & Animal Portraits

I also specialise in animal portraits, domestic pets and wildlife. I aim to capture the "essence" of my subjects—whether it’s a majestic lion in the wild or a cherished A4/A3 pet commission for a client. Some of my wildlife pieces often incorporate unique techniques like tea and coffee staining, which add a weathered, atmospheric depth to the fine details of fur or feather.
